*a loud crack sounds and before you purple smoke emerges, from the azure haze a neat, crisp letter glides towards you*

Greetings,

This is the High Delegate, with a message for you all.

I am currently working with the staff in Northrend with the aim of forming an Azerothian Elite Forsaken Unit (which shall henceforth be referred to as AEFU). As past members of the failed and disgraced Apothecarium you are invited to register in the near future for participation on this force.

To that end I require information regarding your activities in the past months, since the service at Wyrmrest until this moment, so that I may form an accurate record of your experiences and endeavours.

You may leave a brief note signalling your interest in the scheme, with a truthful account of your recent activity (which we shall verify with other sources) within the Apothecarium. From there I shall collect it.

I have been working in the north over the past weeks, for the forces of the Bastard Prince persist in many parts. I shall return to the Undercity shortly to review the future of our service to the Lady, blessed be her.

Yours Sincerely,

V.

[[Hello!

Just a useful way to share our characters stories over the past months. What have THEY been up to?
It's also a way for me to assess how many of the old members are looking to return, and a quick way to get this sorted IC.

Share and enjoy!]]

The place had changed since she was there last time. It used to be filled with busy chemists, walking back and forth between cauldrons and bookshelves, muttering, brewing, stitching, spellcasting. Now, it was so quiet. It made her hesitate at the threshold, breath caught in her throat. A few seconds, she stood frozen, shoulders rigidly hunched forward. She should just leave. She had left this part of her unlife behind. What was she coming back for? The happy memories? Almost inaudibly, she snorted.
But, no matter how much she resented her former colleagues - the traitors, the honourless, unworthy filth - they possessed a knowledge she needed. The will to work towards a similar goal. She could just as well give it a try. And so, she crossed the threshold, taking a firmer grip of the scythe's handle.
The note she had was very, very short. Too short. The letter had required her to leave a record of her activities during the last few months. But what ought she have written? "Took a nice holiday in Durotar"? "Studied ancient troll languages in Stranglethorn"? Yes, she bet they would have liked that. No, she could not tell a lie, and she certainly could
not tell the truth. So, she had written nothing. Hoping it wasn't too obvious, that it wouldn't draw their intention. Surely, it was entirely possible, that she had done nothing worth of mentioning?
She shook her head. She had thought this through many times already. She should just leave the note and be gone, before bumping into an old colleague. Her eyes quickly scanned the surroundings, looking for somewhere to leave the note - finally, she settled on a clean working table. There, she placed the small piece of paper, and scurried away, the hooded cloak wrapped around her tiny figure.

I, Rebekka Motacilla Citreola, former Deathguard of The Apothecarium, is willing to once more draw my weapon in the name of the Dark Lady.

*Somewhere in the Blasted Lands...*

Geriand stared at the letter as it landed in his palm. Swiftly he read over the note and passed it onto the Orc standing behind him. The Orc took a quick glance and saw the contents. He grimaced and stared at Geriand.
"Father, what does this mean?"
Geriand tilted his head slightly and grinned. Well, it could be described as a grin if not for the decay which had become ever more apparant on his face during the recent few months.
"It means I'm going to be leaving. I'm going to the Undercity."

The cultists surrounding Geriand gasped, their leader was to abandon them? Their leader was to embark on a journey to the Forsaken Capital? The Orc who had taken the letter peered at their master curiously. It was unlike him to be so excited. The last time this happened was when he slaughtered the Draenei who had come through the Dark Portal.
"Father, will you require any of us to accompany you? If not, we shall resume the preparations for the ceremony we were discussing with you previously."
It took Geriand a moment to respond, a moment to come to a decision.
"No. I will be fine on my own."
The cultists began to move behind him, swiftly they gathered supplies for the journey ahead, they had to make sure their guardian would be safe. As they worked Geriand closed his eyes and concentrated. For a moment the orb in his hand began to glow and he shivered, the glorious pain began to fill him once more. He opened his mouth, the bonds on his face groaned as his mouth slowly widened.
"As for you all. I'm afraid it has come to an end."

The cultists had mere moments left to live. With a great roar Geriand tore into the power of The Shadow and sent out a psychic scream into the minds of his servants. As they fell to the floor and ran in fear Geriand begun to tear into them one by one. The cultists were insignificant to his might. With a force so gentle it could be used to tuck a child in at night the cultists fell to the floor one by one. Their lives retreated into the abyss and in a metter of moments, it was over.
Geriand stared at his handy work. Beautifully disgusted by his actions he quickly turned to find the purple smoke had still remained throughout the massacre. Geriand lowered himself to his knees and ripped a piece of flesh from the Orc who he had spoken to earlier, dipped his finger in the blood of his ally and wrote his name.
GERIAND
He threw the parchment into the smoke.
"Time to make my way."

Flame Crest, Burning Steppes

Vraenesha stared at the parchment before her. It was impossible to read her emotional response to the text she red, as her face was covered by a rune-etched mask. It took her several moments to absorb the information on the sheet; either it didn't make sense to her, or she didn't want it to make sense.
However, after a good five minutes, she finally broke free from her statue-like posture. She let out a hoarse snarl, her throat broken from her attempt on suicide, and lurched out for the parchment. She grasped it, crumbling the fragile paper with a crunching sound, turning to the orcs next to her. She roared harpy-like at them, but her language was uninterpretable for the poor orcs. She was yelling at them in Common.
Infuriated, she stormed off, her blazing imp following right at her heels. Her relentless march came to a halt at the Altar of the Storms. She looked up at the glaring statues, as if begging them for help.
Not knowing what to do, Vraenesha almost tears off her mask in obvious frustration and anger, sundering the strings on the back of her head, which reveals a entirely different face: several rotspots have been developing on her cheeks and forehead and the yellow glow in her empty eyesockets long gone, nothing but dust and a slight shimmer of red is found in these hollow mirrors. Her upper lip has rotten away, revealing her not-so-perfectly white teeth. It is clear that she has undergone change.
Her attention once more falls upon the ball of paper in her palm. With a frightened grimace, she etches "VraeneFelucia Black" into the paper, then hurls it away from her. She summons her fiery steed, and gallops away.
Felucia Black is recovering from the harmful blow struck to her upon the abolishment of the Royal Apothecary Society.

[[OH MY GOD! YEY! YEY! YEY!

I just watched an Epic Episode of Dr Who, so I'm kinda hyper anyway, but reading these I can almost hear the epic music as all our little char's come riding to the Undercity... *starts to hum https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mKz9XAxnY6k&feature=related (especially the fast/darker bits, I still have Dr Who on my mind!)* =D

So up for doing this again now, and I think - even if just, like 5 of us came back - we'd love every moment, we're going to rewrite the nature of the Guild, so that we're a compact elite travelling around together... Not some sprawling chaotic, incoherent monster. That will require spirit, activeness and commitment. It will produce fun, epicness and more fun and epicnosity.

Now. On the other post we can discuss a few more things, but this is just great.]]

Kastner gripped his crossbow tighter, scanning the tree line for the slightest hint of movement. The Worgen were picking up again if the recent reports were anything to go by. Probably because they didn't have to the scourge to compete with any more. Pride squawked beneath him, complaining with his cautious pace. The Deathstalker dug his heels sharply into its side every time it made its grievance known. Last thing he needed was the stupid lizard garnering attention.

Needless to say, a loud crack and fluttering movement caused poor Hainricht to shit a proverbial brick, and the letter was met with a flying bolt almost immediately. After taking a moment to calm down, he furrowed his brow, dismounted and led his raptor to one of the ubiquitous pine trees that gave the forest its name. Casually tying the beast to a branch, and previous tension quite overwhelmed by curiosity, he unpinned the note.

Kastner turned the envelope in his hand. What was wrong with just hiring a messenger? He'd seen magic like that before, but who? Halliwell? Black? Wait, could it be? Surely not...

His face paled, or it would have were it able. Tearing the envelope open, he scanned the contents. Then read it thoroughly. Then scanned the thing again, just to be sure.

Blackaxe could wait. Without a word, not even a characteristic grumble, he folded and stowed the slip of paper, mounted up and spurred his raptor back the way he came, double speed.

---

The stairway seemed eerily familiar. It was like he was actually storming down them to vent his frustrations on some poor Skulk, or confidently striding to give Black his report. Even that very first time he had descended, as close to nervous as he had ever been, to greet Citreola and conduct that interview flashed through across his mind.

Looking across the darkened, ill kept lab was like staring into a mirror. But a shadow of its former glory, almost without purpose. Knowing all to well its potential but unable to fill it. Was this place home? Kastner couldn't say. But he did know that, for the first time in far too long a while, the next step was clear. An air of poise and purpose seemed to beat back the dusty atmosphere as he strode towards the bookcase just above the desks. Taking both note and bolt from his pocket, he rolled the letter out and pinned it to the case in one smooth motion.

From the desk came a pencil, a and after a few moments of scribbling he turned and stalked away, back into the gloom of the Undercity. On the note, facing the entrance for all of Azeroth to see, was his reply.

I'll file my report in person. It's about bloody time.

- Kastner

Northern Tirisfal

Kelmith grinned as he read the letter.

"The High Delegate sure knows some tricks." he said. The imp sitting on his shoulder looked at the letter as well.
"You think Cloudy got that letter too?" the imp asked.
"Wouldn't count on it. She hasn't been loyal to the R.A.S in ages." Kelmith replied.
"True. Maybe it's better for you right now. She seems to be quite displeased with you, so you better try to keep your distance. I mean... if you're gonna answer the call..."

Kelmith glanced at the imp.
"WHat did you expect? Those Rotsteel runts are nowhere to be found... propably dead even. Might as well go see the bitch and make myself useful." Kelmith said and slashed the imps chest with his sharp fingers.
"Ow... HEY!" Gobtog screamed.

Kelmith used the demon's blood to write his name and a message to the paper.
"Just you wait, 'old pals'. The Raven's not dead yet."

Tristan was sipping his coffee slowly, whilst reading the newest Gadgetztan Times. Suddenly, he heared a puff, and watched as the letter dropped over his newspaper. He looked around to be sure, that nobody was inside the house, and shrugged. He moved the Newspaper aside, and swinged out one of his throwing knives with his metal hand, from the depths of his jacket. He then elegantly opened the letter with the knife, placing the knife back to its place afterwards. He opened the letter, and began to read it. If Tristan would have had still eyes, or some remains of his face, everyone could've readed suprisement from his face. He began to chuckle to himself. Tristan peered at the potret of Hetty above the fireplace, that he had ordered from a Goblin artist. He then looked back to the letter, thinking for a moment. He finally made his decision, and wrote his name on the letter. He however took few glances to it afterwards, smiling to himself, as he released it away, letting it disappear from his sight.

They need me. They need my skills. They need my knowledge..And most of all..They need my team spirit..

I'm sure Hetty will understand..Afterall, Viatrix means business..Besides, she's not that bad looking either. I'd be glad to work for her again..And, money speaks.

Teorius looked up from his book, and made a note on an a really overfilled side in a notebook. He had spent much time in the Dalaran library the gone months. The end of the Apothecarium had left him bored and alone, and so he had spent his time researching.

Suddenly the door flew up, and a letter was tossed in. Darkcast didn't have time to see who left it, and his eyes gave away a glimpse of curiosity under the hood. He picked up the letter and read it.

"Time once again... How... Funny!" He exclaimed, and turned to pack down his books...

(For the sake of it, and on the pretense that the letter CAN actually reach Outland and Anxx would be so kindly, by you, be considered a member - seems a slim chance, but that's what makes it better AND more outrageous! Sorry for its length!)

Falling from the very edges of Outland hadn't done this one good, not much, no. He fell, because of the very fact Anxx did not actually weigh that much! Although death tempers the dead with bereavement, hazed counsel, suprisingly fashionable yet macabre optics and of course, lack-lustre rotting extremities. It does actually, factually or whatever-actually, make you drop a bit of weight. Much to the find of blood elves, to note.

Said blood elves wished to create a, let's say, more emphatic attempt at an Exodar. Or one that doesn't plummet into the ground, at least. Well anyway, the blood elves captured - ironically - a quite grouchy undead who was really, and in complete honesty, just taking an afternoon stroll in The Netherstorm. That was all Anxx really remembered from then, as he was shoved in a box, until he reached the, urr, what was the name; it was long and imaginative anyway.

To cut a story short: The Grand Astronomer Frownbough sighed at their new addition to what they called the Draenauts, whatever draenaut meant it didn't endorse much to Anxx's already rather sour imagination. Nascent to their language, Anxx would try to pick up on words, words such as: "Twisting Nether", "edge", "launch", "Exodar vessel" and, to much discomfort, "that undead over there".

Then, to Anxx's relief he was taken from the box.. and then shoved into an even darker and air-tight room. Not that he needed air, it's just it makes a satisfying tingle on the inside of his mouth. Giving a contemptuous glance to the guard dragging him in, the guard made sporadic flickers to Anxx's face. The guard then glowered and flung him, like a corpse, into the room. On impromptu occasion, Anxx actually felt scared; the room had lit up as he looked up, showing the block that was Outland in some kind of hologram form. Anxx had, in the ripe sweetness of his youth tried to be a magician.. and failed. Now, what is commonly misunderstood with magician-kind - most of their "spells" were actually just tricks of the light. Anxx, who was as forementioned, a failed magician: he remembers his teachers' eyes, they were all so punitive, as he tried to -- oh, never mind. The point is, Anxx thought it WAS a trick of the light, consequently, he was scared, frightened that it was floating, perse that he had been shut in a box and was not in for something, which didn't exactly hold bounty.

It took a while to get his 'suit' on, as they called it, it was a rather large helmet, with bronze plating and tight leather. It certainly wasn't for battle; a gnome could easily gnaw through the plate, what it would do afterwards, or why a gnome would be gnawing the suit was beyond Anxx.

At that point, Anxx could see what was going to happen. Twisting Nether, Exodar Vessel, that undead over there, and a suit! They wanted him to do something or other in a vessel like the Exodar in space! Anxx didn't struggle - well, he couldn't he was bound up - he just went along along with the 'standard proceedure'.

The vessel looked small, very much smaller than the Exodar. It was almost fish-like, but did look like the Exodar. It was then, he realised, he was in Tempest Keep. The elves whisked him up to the craft, if you could call it that; inside he was met by a coughing, squirmy.. mushroom person, one of those sporelings. It looked ridiculous in its suit.
Its back was turned to Anxx, who was now eyeing the controls, they looked like truffles on a platter; all neat and tidy.

It suffered from some malaise, probably caused from being away from that dinge-hole swamp; Anxx was quick to diagnose, mostly because of some past, which he had forgotten. It was probably the fact he suffered from perpetual nose-bleeds when he was a child, but he wasn't sure. Why was he even on Outland. But that question couldn't be answered, because the Sporeling turned to him. Jumping slightly, Anxx made it clear - by speaking more loudly than usual: Don't you even think, of coughing on me. LET ALONE, Anxx made sure the beast's attention was on him breathing on me. Anxx nodded. Then, the doors just simply slammed shut; the Sporeling gasped and in spasmodic distress slammed down its face on a large button.

BOOM! Anxx squealed in reaction, the mana-engines' energies burst into start. Although, to Anxx and the spectating elves' surprise, it just fell off the edge instead of going up. The Sporeling looked round, not sure what it had exactly done - by the look of it, Anxx and the Sporeling, which he had named 'Stupid Git', were into a Hell load of kodo feces. That was on the pretense that they could land the craft specifically enough, as to hit kodo feces.

The craft fell, but reached a parallel and drifted graciously through space, fleeting dreams of flight that some men had, by the end of this, no living creature would want to jump or lift its feet from the ground. Fantastic lights sprouted from some stars, not too dissimilar from the Exodar's crystals.

It wasn't long before the Sporeling - Stupid Git, sorry - was asleep, and Anxx was left drifting by himself in the craft; hitting the walls and furiously pushing himself to some area where he could hang on. That was until he looked through the window: It was usually just plain black, bar the stars and distant suns in the background. However, a purple 'poof' appeared in the back-scenery of the Twisting Nether, followed by a soaring sound. Anxx's eye-sockets enlargened. It looked like some sort of letter.

It traveled too fast for Anxx's liking, as if it was chasing down the aircraft. Anxx began to pant - hollowly - in vain escape, shaking Stupid Git and pointing to the letter, which was quickly gaining speed on the pair. "It was all so quick", Anxx could recall. The letter smashed its way through the flimsy glass, its velocity was so great it actually hit the controls, and.. sent the ship into comic plummet. Irony, will be the second death of Anxx.

Back on Outland, an expedition on Cenarion elves valiantly strode through the swamps, hewing and cutting down their enemies - Naga - through the swamps. Until they, of course, looked up to their unfortunate doom. It can be said, at that moment, Anxx - although plummeting so speedily through the Twisting Nether, to ground - felt to laugh for some reason.

It was honestly a clean land, the swamp was a generic, good surface to land on. Stupid Git, got up and left peacefully, seemingly content with being back in the marsh. Anxx however, sat in daze after their two-day flight of inept-ability. The letter, that had been resposnible for the death of ten elves, and the cost of thousands of gold of crafting master-power. Lulled quietly into his palms, it was neatly adressed to no one in particular; in most cases, a "how simply amazing!" would come to Anxx's dry lips - but what had just happened wasn't nearly as harassing as a letter that flew like a falling ogre.

Scanning over it, he smiled - or impressioned a smile, he didn't know who the High Delegate was, but. It said The Apothecarium! Standing up, he smiled and tossed his delicate hair back, quite dramatically so. And for no other reason, than the fact he had a sore debt to pay for the Apothecarium, after falling to his arrogance's loom and eventually failing in such processes. Suddenly feeling a twinge of avaricious warming, he looked around. Much to his gory satisfaction, he reached for the nearest writing utensil, which happened to be a night elf's finger. Making paint strokes with the blood, whatever colour night elf blood is, he wrote in a childlike fashion: 'I'm going to cooperate, if I may, you might not know who I am, but I assure you - I am quite useful. ANXX.' thereafter, he documents his year - which isn't really much. Contemplating on whether to add some kisses to be slightly bourgoise, - he decided on a trip to the Undercity; wondering how Darsolenew was doing, in some slightly weird disposition.

(I think I was a bit too enthusiastic, but I can't help it. I was under prompt.
What I'm hitting at is,

"I've failed my way to success," - Thomas Edison.

May I please, pretty please, with whatever condement or fruit, or both; have a second chance? I'll behave this time, I pro-pro-promise. Sorry again, I'm ever so embaressed and ashamed.)
