Larkall's Prison Letters, Documents and Written Memories.

He flexed his fingers, wincing at it's harsh uneasing pain. Looking over his shoulder he reached for the quill.

'The fate of your smile, weighs oh-so heavily on such a faint heart as mine. You should see me now, locked in this cage. I stay faithful, through the thins of my wavering health. Your images dance around my head as I wooze into a darkened fantasy. Now it is all quiet, the guards have gone but I am still confined. It irritates me, as it boils up. Throbbing at my flesh, breaking out in scarlet sores.'

'They I think I should medicate this obsession.. Of you.'

'My total devotion,
Darrius.'

Keeling over, it is morning. The Lark visits his window, as his thoughts are overcome by fatigue.

(( Tell me what you think of this one! I'll hopefully improve, but anyway I think it's perhaps appropriate to get involved! Better than reading Animal Farm! And yes, Larkall used to be a heavy Romeo, still is.. A bit. ))

The prison guard rattled repetitively on the bars of his confinement. Darrius turned over in his sleep, before his eyes met the fragile gray light seeping through the tiny window. The guard walked off, jeering at the 'sods in cages'. It was nearly time to spring from the 'cage'.

He took to his quill once more, in thoughts of freedom.

'If I die, my love, think only this of me; that on some piece on Azeroth shall be forever our land. In that rich earth where I should lie, a richer dust is concealed. A dust whom we have bore, shaped, made aware. Given to you what flowers to love, your ways to roam'.

Darrius blinked, rubbing the sleep from his unfathomed eyes.

'And just think, this heart, all evil shed away, a pulse in my eternal mind; your sights and sounds, dreams happy as my day; laughter, learn't of friends; and your gentleness. My heart at peace under your image and heaven'.

Darrius looks away, awashed with tears of fate. He brushed them from his eyes and headed for his sink.

(( Ehe, I never tell my ageing secrets, however I'm glad you like it. Did plan on writing more, but for the sake of suspense! I shall hold you at a whim! ))

The guard came as usual, to his frequent rattling of the bars. Larkall was already awake. Springing upwards from his place of sleep. His eyes met the guard's.

"Is the day so young?" Darrius could not help but importune, as the Lark rested upon the window sill.

Such beauty of a bird, yet the covert of the bars pained Darrius's humor. He was movéd by such a tableau, a lump arising in his dry throat.
Such an overthrow came over him as he sat there, what he was to do frightened his morality. A fearful passage was to be his path. Posterity was his because, his love-so-sweet had moved on, his children were the only thing he longed to see.

"Iss' early mornin', but them days be long in that ol' cell ah' yours, eh'!" The guard enjoyed his jest, jeering along with another down the hall.

Darrius clenched the bed's solid mattress. He watched the guard trundle down the hall, before he got ready for his tetchy work.

Labour, a disparagement to the skilled. Cutting their picks into the hard stone they slaved, on and on. This was perpetual, however he looked for signs of the escape to begin.

It was still early morning, the birds circled the towers. A foreman approached Darrius. The foreman's horrid wrinkled face and fleshless nose reminded Darrius of an old bird of prey. Darrius looked up at the fleering taskman, his face and smile retaining his usual portly self.

"Are you staring, rich boy?" He asked, a smirk had embarked his face. He was prodigious, a monster. Though around such a beasts belt was a key to the yard.

"Only at the vast plain of wrinkles, do you perhaps collect the marks? You're obviously a goodman, never seen such a horrid complexion" Darrius spoke confidently, he wasn't usually this foul mouthed, but this time it had worked to his favour.

Men behind the now fuming foreman began to work, swinging their picks at the overseers, they ensued in battle. Darrius quickly directed a slam to the back of the foreman's large cranium. Temp'ring extremities, he hit trim, knocking the foreman stone. He then reached for the foreman's key and batton.

Now sprinting, Darrius lunges for the yard door, and opened it. Guards tushed to quell the stirred work'n place. His lungs were under his new stressed modern lamentation. The frontal prison guards had also left to join the fray in the work place, as Darrius dashed. He had beguiled the guards. He was free from his mistermed sour company.

The outside, was the same he'd left. Tirisfal.

"Convict 189!" a rowdy voice shouted from the hall.

"Ready to go? Let's hope you don't go stealing anything." The Convict's eyes narrowed at such a ropery joke. Yet he followed slowly and in a similarly composed manner. His hands were bound, and the canvas clothing itched at the many scathes he'd recieved during the stone work. He ignored the guard's jeers, their partisans held over his head precariously. In the cells other felons were brandying, the guards had let them, for some horrid entertainment. One man threw a dry-beat punch to another, where as another used a passado, knocking the other to his feet. The guards roared in amusement. As they passed another wail that softened valor's steel, came from the 32 block. Such cries retorted again, as the guard sped up towards the door.

The Convict sat on a small chair, across from the small man that had wanted to see him. It was the prison owner.

"Time to make amends, Henry, is it?" Then man had a condescending tone to his slow, dialogue.

Henry nodded spitefully in reaction.

"We've had some visitors lately, they want people to.. Experiment on as it were, they pay a hefty price for people like you." He fumed out as he spoke, a devilish smile developed.Henry shifted in his seat, at that moment his skin had turned sallow, and the owner had picked up on it. He smirked with glee. It was those darkly dressed people, the ones that took people.

"We have also heard, you're quite the martial one. A theif?" He mused.

"No, I most certainly not a theif." Henry growled at the sour company.

"You're in prison, if you do forget. You can't wish to be stainless about such things." Henry withdrew, the air grew dim at such a moment. The Owner smiled, then planting another offer, he spoke.

"There is another option.." He smiled once again as Henry looked up. "The Army, they've been needing more troops to fight the new threat." Henry, didn't want to do that either. He wanted a normal life. Perhaps, the experiement would not be so bad.

"So?" The owner sat there cockily, snarling and interrupting Henry's thoughts.

"W-what if I don't choose?"

"You'll be killed."

"Killed?"

"You can't expect us, to keep on feeding you, you're a useless maggot to us." The owner smiled again. "But now we can get a price for you."

Henry's reaction snapped "The first option then!". At that moment, a dark cloaked and robed figure entered the door. Henry's eyes widened.

"You may have him. But that will be it yes? We don't want to look like we're supplying your little.. Cult." The owner said prudently, he too was afraid of this darkly dressed man.

"C-cult?" Henry squealed as two guards took his arms, and began to drag him.
